Kenneth J. Strauss, class of 1961.
A lifelong resident of Brunswick, Strauss retired in 1998 after 32 years as an award-winning teacher in the Berea City Schools.
He was Teacher of the Year in 1997, awarded by the Ohio Chemical Council and received Teacher of the Year honors in 1997 from the WVIZ National Teacher Training Institute.
Strauss was a Jennings Scholar and awarded Master Teacher status by WVIZ where he in participated as a program presenter.
He was a presenter for the Ohio Chemical Council Science workshops for many years and also was a Keynote speaker.
